Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF) and Tara Climate Foundation invited Gulabi Zameen Team to join the Asia Regional Youth Climate Convening, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1 – 5 December 2025. With support from Mariwala Initiative, our team member Podigai Nemo joined the event to share their insights and lived experiences.
This convening brought together youth climate justice leaders and partners from across South, Southeast, and East Asia to -
- Strengthen regional solidarity and relationships.
- Exchange lessons and skills to enhance organizational sustainability.
- Create a safe space for reflection,wellbeing, and resilience.
- And, Build trust-based relationships between youth leaders and funders through candid dialogue and co-learning.
The five-day program included participatory sessions, skill-building clinics, storytelling and cultural exchange, peer-to-peer learning, and dedicated wellbeing spaces. The agenda was co-created with participants to ensure it reflects the priorities of youth climate justice leaders.
Overall, it was an experience that allowed us to connect with several talented and dedicated youth leaders across India and Region. We hope such solidarities and collaborations continue across borders in future as well.
